New Zealand Demolish South Africa In 4TH ODI: Martin Guptill’s blistering knock of 180, laced with 15 fours and 11 sixes helped New Zealand cruise to victory by 7 wickets in Hamilton. Opting to bat first, South Africa put up 279-8 in their 50 overs. At present the series is levelled at 2-2.

Parsee Gymkhana’s Raunaq Sharma Smashes A Massive 158: Parsee Gymkhana lost to Sind Sports Club in the Young Comrade Shield Cricket Tournament encounter by a mere 7 runs. Raunaq Sharma grabbed 4-56 with his leg spin in 15.3 overs and batted in 158 runs with 14 boundaries and 7 sixes. PG garnered 267 in 58.4 overs.

 

FOOTBALL

Premier League Results: On 25th February, Chelsea beat Swansea City 3-1, Crystal Palace won 1-0 against Middlesbrough while Everton defeated Sunderland 2-0. Hull City drew their encounter 1-1 playing with Burnley while West Bromwich Albion defeated rivals AFC Bournemouth 2-1 and finally Watford were involved in a draw with West Ham United 1-1. The next day Tottenham Hotspur play extremely well to beat Stoke City 4-0. While 27th February saw Leicester City beat Liverpool 3-1.

 

HOCKEY

Kalinga Lancers Win Hockey India League: Kalinga lancers emerged victorious and defeated opponents Dabang Mumbai 4-1 to clinch their maiden Hockey India League Title in Chandigarh. Kalinga Lancers finished runners up last season but this year luck favoured them and they went onto become champions while for Dabang Mumbai it was their first entry into the finals.

 

BADMINTON

K. Srikanth Moves Into Second Round Of German Open: Indian shuttler K Srikanth overpowered rival Alen Roj of Slovakia in straight sets 21-4, 21-11 and thus moved into the second round at the German Open. He will now face Yusuke Onodera of Japan in the next round.

 

TENNIS

Djokovic And Nadal Win Respective Matches In ATP Acapulco: Novak Djokovic defeated Martin Klizan 6-3, 7-6 (7/4) while Rafael Nadal beat Mischa Zverev 6-4, 6-3 in the ATP Acapulco competition.
