On 22nd February, 2017, the Managing Council of the National Society of the Friends of Trees (NSFT), jointly with St. Xavier’s College, felicitated Dr. Pheroza J Godrej, President Emeritus – Friends of the Trees, with the distinguished ‘Vruksha Ratna Award’. She was also presented with an oil-painting of a magnificent rain tree, painted by acclaimed artist, Jamshed P Irani, who was especially commissioned by the President of the Society, Dr. Ashok Kothari for the same.
