Women’s India Trust (WIT) was recently awarded ‘Women’s Empowerment Award’, at the 6^th Global Economic Summit, 2017, held from 27^th to 29^th March, 2017. The Award recognizes the important role WIT has played in empowering women by ensuring access to education, training, a job skill and livelihood.  Held jointly by the World Trade Centre (WTC) and the All India Association of Industries, the Summit saw delegates from a number of countries, including Ministers, UN officials and WTC members attending the two day conference in Mumbai.
