The Dadar Parsee Colony Sports Welfare Association (DPCSWA) organised its annual Throwball and Volleyball Championships from 9th to 13th May, 2018 at the Rustom Tirandaz Park grounds. Sponsored by The WZO Trust Funds and Dinshaw Tamboly, the finals, graced by Chief Guest, Dr. Mazda Turel, witnessed Cusrow Baug and Malcolm Baug as Winners and Runners Up of Throwball Tournament, respectively. DPCSWA ‘A’ were declared winners of Volleyball, followed by Navroze Baug A as Runners Up.
Roshni Dadachanji of Cusrow Baug was adjudged the ‘Best Player’, followed by Jenaya Desai of Malcom Baug declared ‘Upcoming Player’ for Throwball. Rayomand Irani of DPCSWA was awarded ‘Best Player In Volleyball’, while Frayosh Sinor of DPCSWA and Meherzad of Rustom Baug were declared ‘Upcoming Players’ in Volleyball. The event was a grand success, thanks to the effort by the Organising Committee consisting of and referees, Hasan Ansari for Volleyball and Nilesh Lohar for Throwball.
