Parsi sports icons – legendary Diana Edulji and Adille Sumariwalla – will be felicitated by The Sports Journalists’ Association of Mumbai (SJAM) with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, for their contribution to the development of sport, over an extended period of time.

The SJAM’s Executive Committee decided on this year’s honours list during its meeting at the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) in August 2022.

Diana Edulji and Adille Sumariwalla will be feted, for their immense contributions in the fields of cricket and athletics, respectively, along with other senior sports journalists at the Association’s 2021-2022 Awards function for sports-persons, in the oncoming months. MM Somaya (Hockey), Sheila Kanungo (Shooting) and Prof. Ratnakar Shetty (Administrator, Cricket) will also be honoured with the SJAM Lifetime Achievement Awards, alongside Diana Edulji and Adille Sumariwalla.
