The Pune chapter of the World Zarthushti Chambers of Commerce (WZCC) held its Annual General Meeting on 16^th September, 2022 at a hotel in Pune. In his welcome note to the gathering, Tehmasp Bharucha – Chapter Chair, welcomed the Guest Speaker – Dr. Sandeep Sahshrabudhe – a wealth management expert, as also WZCC Global President, Captain Percy Master and WZCC-India Region President – Behroze Daruwalla. He informed that the total number of Pune members now stood at 90, including ten new youth member enrolments during the year. He also shared that the Pune chapter would be working closely with Zoroastrian Youth Association of Pune and that the Working Committee was preparing to organize fund raiser program for Jamshedi Navroze. The focus would be on organising youth-centric workshops and seminars.

Captain Master and Behroze Daruwalla appreciated the efforts of WZCC Pune under the leadership of Tehmasp Bharucha. They shared their vision and action plan under the new global leadership. Captain Master spoke of the initiative for funding Zoroastrian entrepreneurs with interest-free financial assistance. They revisited fixing the age limit for members to room for young aspirants.

Dr. Sandeep Sahshrabudhe delivered the key-note speech on Wealth Management. Audited accounts were presented and approved. Senior member and WZCC International Director – Viraf Deboo spoke of caretaking and involvement of senior members and then introduced members who had joined last year. Vice-Chairman of WZCC Mumbai, Jamshed Mistry also addressed the audience. Dinaz Bharucha gave the vote of thanks as members went on to enjoy networking and dinner. The event was ably conducted by sibling-duo – Bezan and Behnaz Nanavatti.
