On 11^th September, 2022, the members of XYZ’s group – Rustom’s Rockstars, along with parents and volunteers, conducted a dry waste collection drive, titled, ‘Put Your Waste In Its Right Place’, in partnership with ReCircle – a resource recovery enterprise working towards a sustainable future.

The drive was conducted at three locations – Navajbai Contractor Baug (covering 18 buildings); Khan Estate Colony and nearby Zoroastrian buildings in Mahim (covering 13 buildings) and Tata Blocks, Bandra (covering 26 buildings).

Taronish Tarapore (President Elect), Gian Dastoor and Kayan Dee (President Nominee) led the collection drive, as members went door to door collecting dry waste, including paper, plastic, glass, metals, etc. A total of 234.2 kg waste was collected, and the proceeds from its sale were donated to social service organisations.

The event helped members understand the importance of segregating waste and recycling. Participants received appreciation certificates from ReCircle. As a kind gesture, chocolates for children at Navajbai Contractor Baug, Mahim were sponsored by the Contractor Baug Association. Taronish, Gian and Kayan delivered their votes of thanks at Tata Blocks, Navajbai Contractor Baug and Khan Estate Colony, respectively, marking the conclusion of this helpful undertaking.
