WGU Organises ‘Alternative Healing’ Workshop

Entering its 101st year of service towards women empowerment, The Counseling and Guidance Centre of Women Graduates Union (WGU) organised a talk on ‘Alternative Healing’ at Amy Rustomjee Hall, Colaba, on 13th July, 2016. Inaugurated by President of WGU, Havovi Gandhi; Advocate Gauri Chhabria, Chairperson of Counseling and Guidance Centre, WGU welcomed the gathering.

Alternative therapist and keynote speaker, Divya Bajaj, enlightened the audience on ‘Healing Thyself With Alternative Healing’, while simultaneously stressing upon the importance of living in the present and loving one’s self. The audience also participated in the Hawaiian style of meditation, known as ‘Ho’oponopono’ or ‘Healing Meditation’ that facilitates cleansing of the mind, reconciliation and forgiveness, by getting to the root of the problem. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by WGU Secretary, Dolly Sagar, followed by refreshments.
