The Zoroastrian residents of Thane celebrated Jamshedi Navroz on 21st March, 2017, with a jasan ceremony at Thane’s Patell Agyari, followed by grand celebrations at Hotel Bombay Barbeque. Attended by over two hundred guests, The Thane Parsi Anjuman took the opportunity to felicitate former President, Rustom Cursetji and former Secretary and Vice President, Pervez Bhesania, for their selfless and dedicated services to the community for over three and four decades, respectively, with a shawl,  plaque and flowers. The evening concluded with dinner.
