The Thane Zarthostis celebrated of Ava Yazad Nu Parab with devotion and religious fervor on 24th March, 2017, at Patell Agiary’s holy well. Being a working day, the morning began with Zarthostis offering flower garlands and divo to Ava Yazad, followed by floral torans to decorate the periphery of the holy well in the evening. A Jasan was performed at the Cawasji Patell Agiary by the two mobeds, Er. Kersi Sidhwa and Er. Adil Sidhwa at 5:00pm, followed by the devotees proceeding towards the holy well, where the Dasturjis recited thanks giving prayers in a humbandagi to the Ava Yazad [Ava Ardvisur Banu]. The religiously significant day concluded with the local Thane Zarthustis enjoying a round of chasni and light refreshments.
