On 2nd October, 2017, the sacred Navsari Atash Behram marked its 252nd Salgreh, with a turnout of under a hundred devotees for its morning jasan, led by Er. Freddy Palia and performed by ten Mobeds at 9:30 am. Another jasan, which was held in the evening, was led by Er. Khurshed Desai and performed by thirteen Mobeds at 7pm. A community dinner was held in the evening at Jamshed Baug, which saw an attendance of 200 community members. The holy fire at the Navsari Atash Behram, established in 1765, is considered to be one of the purest, other than the Iranshah in Udvada.
