India ‘A’ Wins Against New Zealand ‘A’ In Unofficial ODI: Outstanding batting efforts from Shardul Thakur (40) and an unbeaten 38 by Karn Sharma helped India ‘A’ beat New Zealand ‘A’, thus winning the final unofficial ODI series at Visakhapatnam. Electing to bat first, the kiwis scored 173 in 44.2 overs, courtesy knocks of 42 from skipper Henry Nicholls and 39 from opener George Worker. Basil Thampi snapped up 3-19 in his 6 overs while Mohammed Siraj and Shahbaz Nadeem scalped 2 wickets each. While chasing a small target of 174, India ‘A’ at one stage were reduced to 90 for six after only Abhimanyu Eswaran notched up 49. It was Shardul and Karn who managed to finished off with 174-7 in 32.1 overs.

English Premier League Results
On 14th October, Liverpool and Manchester United played out a goalless draw, Burnley and West Ham United drew their encounter 1-1, Crystal Palace won 2-1 beating Chelsea. Manchester United overpowered rivals Stoke City and thrashed them to a 7-2 victory, next Swansea City defeated Huddersfield Town 2-0 and Tottenham Hotspur edged out rivals 1-0, while Watford won 2-1 V/s Arsenal. The following day Brighton and Hove Albion drew their game 1-1 playing against Everton. Later Southampton too were involved in a 2-2 draw against Newcastle United. 16th October saw Leicester City and West Bromwich tie at 1-1.
Virat Kohli’s All Heart Team Emerge Victorious In Celebrity Clasico: The Virat Kohli led All Heart team which was full of cricketers completely outplayed the Abhishek Bachchan’s All Stars team to emerge victorious by a huge 7-3 margin in the ‘Celebrity Clasico Charity Match’ at the Mumbai Football Arena. The cricketers proved to be too good for the Bollywood celebrities as they outplayed them on field. Wicketkeeper-batsman of team India, Mahendra Singh Dhoni along with Anirudh Srikant stood strong for their team, coupled with a goal each from Virat Kohli, Kedar Jadhav and Shikhar Dhawan.

India Edge Out Pakistan In Asia Cup: India beat arch rivals Pakistan 3-1 and top pool ‘A’ in the Asia Cup at Dhaka. India scored in the 17th minute, courtesy Chinglensana, Ramandeep Singh doubled the lead in the 44th minute while in the very next minute Harpreet Singh struck the third for India. The Indian outfit now finishes off with nine points. Further, the robin stage round will feature the super 4- India, Pakistan, South Korea and Malaysia.

On 14th October Tamil Thalaivas beat Patna Pirates 40-37, on the other hand Puneri Paltan emerged victorious beating U Mumbai 43-24. The next day Bengaluru Bulls won 38-32 against UP Yoddha, while Puneri Paltan defeated Dabang Delhi KC, 34-31. On 17th October Bengaluru Bulls steered home a 31-27 win V/s UP Yoddha, and Haryana Steelers won 31-27 against Puneri Paltan.
