The Ahmedabad Parsi Panchayat (APP) held its Annual General Meeting on 10^th June, 2018, at Parsi Sanatorium compound, where the audited accounts for the FY 2017-18 were adopted. President Brig. (Retd), Jahangir P. Anklesaria, VSM, highlighted various activities undertaken by the APP in the last financial year and mentioned the appointment of CA Fredy Contractor as Statutory Auditor for the FY 2018-19. Other aspects discussed included upkeep of Doongarwadi, renovation of Pak Vakil Anjuman Adarian, structuring of the false ceiling of Sir Navroji Vakil Hall, repairs of Parsi Panchayat shopping complex at Jashodanagar, the approval received from Home Ministry for FCRA Account, renewal of Leave and License Agreements of tenants residing at different Panchayat blocks and purchase of a new hearse van. Jt. Hon. Secretary, Firoz Davar delivered the vote of thanks, followed by contributory dinner catered by Freny Nozer Daruwala.
