(April – June, 2021)
The second Covid wave, that began from mid-March, 2021, has hit our community members severely.
Recognising that many in the community have been adversely affected, The WZO Trust Funds and The World Zoroastrian Organisation Trust have raised funds and provided relief to individuals, as per the chart below, dated April to June, 2021:
The relief has been possible entirely due to generous donations received from Zoroastrian Charity Funds of Hong Kong, Canton & Macao, Pervin and Jal Shroff, Hong Kong, Federation of Zoroastrian Associations of North America (FEZANA), Bai Maneckbai P B Jeejeebhoy Deed of Settlement Fund, Mumbai.
The relief / rehabilitation process is ongoing and is expected to continue over the next few months.
