On 9th April, 2023, Avan Yazad was revered and attuned, across the seven seas, by the members of the Zoroastrian Association of California (ZAC), by offering prayers including a Humbandagi, the Avan Ardavisur Nyaish, Dooa Nam Setayashne and Tandarosrti prayers, which were led by Ervad Zerkxis Bhandara, at Santa Ana river, in Orange City, CA.
It was indeed heart-warming to see so many Zoroastrians, ranging from the young to those right up to the ripe age of 87, participating with much religious fervour and passion! After the prayers, scrumptious snacks of Pau Bhaji, Dahi vada, and hot tea were served to all, courtesy Navaz and Marzi Modi, at their home.
