Pashmira Kapadia Wins ‘Cyber Safe Mumbai – Poster Competition’

13-year-old Pashmira Farhad Kapadia, studying in Class VIII at LR & SM Vissanji Academy, Andheri (East), won an award at the Zonal Level and was among the top 100 (out of 3 lakh participants from Maharashtra) in the ‘Cyber Safe Mumbai – Poster Competition’ – an initiative by Mumbai Police & IMC Ladies Wing. Pashmira was awarded a medal and certificate at Mumbai’s Raj Bhawan, by Governor Ramesh Bais on 9th April, 2023.

Since age 3, Pashmira has shown great potential in art and has been practicing her skills under the guidance of artist Ila lad and her schoolteacher. She also excels in academics and extra-curricular activities, having stood first in the International English Olympiad (IEO) in 2021, second in Science Olympiad (NSO) in 2020-21, and scoring a bronze medal in Cyber Olympiad (NCO) in 2020-21.

Panthaly Baug resident, Pashmira has also represented her school in many interschool and state level competitions for Karate (achieved Karate Brown belt -3), Speech and Drama, Poetry writing and recitation. She plays the bugle in her school band and is a Level II keyboard pianist. She wishes to pursue a career in IT Engineering and attributes her success to her hard work, determination, and the Almighty’s blessings.
