XYZ’s Cool Events In The Hot Summer!

XYZ (Xtremely Young Zoroastrians), the community’s premiere association for children, continues to keep up its reputation year after year, as the most fun place of learning and development for our Zoroastrian kids and young adults, through the year! This summer too, XYZ organised some real cool events, starting with the XYZ Seniors (XYZ’s youth group, comprising young adults aged 15 to 25 years) presenting a ‘CV Workshop with Dr. Adil Malia’ well-known Business and Management Guru.

The CV Workshop with Dr. Adil Malia:

Held on 16th April, 2023, this two and a half hour workshop aimed at helping participants create effective CVs (resumés) to make them stand out in today’s competitive job market. Numerous participants – ranging from recent school graduates to experienced professionals – benefitted from this workshop, where Dr. Malia eloquently explained how to best bring out various aspects of one’s CV (including personal details, career objective, education, work experience, skills and achievements) and make it visually appealing. Participants received valuable guidance and feedback in this interactive workshop with Dr. Malia also providing practical advice on how to deal with gaps in employment and showcase achievements in a measurable way.

A great learning experience for participants, the workshop concluded with lunch for all, where participants networked and exchanged ideas. Those interested in attending such workshops in the future could connect with XYZ Seniors.
