The Bai Jerbai Baug Sports League (BJBSL) organised All-Parsis Rink Football from 9th to 29th January, 2017, at the Bai Jerbai Baug Grounds. Media Partnered by Parsi Times, BJBSL received an overwhelming participation of 21 teams in the Men’s Category; 11 teams in the Boys Under-18 Category, 4 teams in the Boys Under-14 Category and 6 teams in the Ladies Category. Through the previous three weeks building up to the finals, the grounds witnessed gripping matches played with enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Chief Guest and BPP Chairman Yazdi Desai with wife Anahita Desai and Guest of Hon. Hoshang Jal graced the finals. Yazdi delivering an inspiring and encouraging speech on keeping sports activities alive in Parsi colonies. The BJBSL Committee thanked the donors for supporting the League in organising the tournament as well as its members, residents and all involved in making the games a success.

Other winners included Arish Sutaria – Best player of the Tournament (Men); Shazen Elavia – Best upcoming player (Men); Zara Dastur – Best player of the Tournament (Ladies); Joyan Jasoomani – Best player of the Tournament (Boys U-18) and Kayanush Batliwalla – Best Player of the Tournament (Boys-U14).
