The Lions Club of East Bombay, District 323A1, executed a pivotal project at the Bombay Institution of Deaf & Mutes (BIDM) Mazagaon on 20th September, 2016, by renovating the Institute’s library and installing a large LED television to aid visual learning to its hearing-impaired students. Attended by Chief Guest, District Governor, Lion Armaity Cooper, the project worth Rs. two lakhs, was sponsored by the Lion Banoo N. Daroga, in memory of her late brothers, Past District Governor- Lion Firoze N. Daroga and Lion Piroj N. Daroga, and was coordinated by the donor’s niece Kerafrid Damania, Centennial President Lion – Aspi Darukhanawala and Club Chairperson for Deaf & Mutes, Lion Dr. Mehercheher Chaina Vicaji. The students of the school enthralled the audience with dance and music, making the event a grand success.
