On 2nd October, 2016, Mahuva Anjuman celebrated its Agiary’s salgreh with its members, starting with a Jasan performed by 2 Mobeds from Navsari. Chief Guest Nariman Bacha (Associate GM, Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co.) unveiled a marble plaque showing the renovation details.

Marezban Baria, President Billimora, Parsi Anjuman and Sam Chothia, President Valsad Parsi Anjuman were also present along with representatives of Bilimora, Vyara, Mandavi, Gandevi and Chikhli Anjumans. Nariman and Shahin Bacha were felicitated by President Bajina, as also Porus Mogal and Sheru Jemi Mogal, who spent over Rs. 5/- lakhs in the renovations of the Agyari in memory of their beloved late Jemi F. Mogal. Others felicitated on this occasion include young achievers Pinaz Mogal and Pizan Kodia; and Firoze Tampal, Dhunjisha Besania and Kali Besania. Dr. Hosang Mogal gave a vote of thanks, followed by renditions of ‘Chhaiye Ame Jarthosti’ and the National Anthem, and finally, a sumptuous dinner.
