p_0412The morning of 25th September, 2016, was abuzz with excitement and chatter of children at Kitab Khana, which hosted the 5th year of the Poetry Festival, ‘A 100 Thousand Poets for Change’, exploring the theme – ‘The Five Fine Arts- Music, Art, Poetry, Sculpture and Architecture’. It was attended by parents, teachers, organisers and curators, Menka Shivdasani and Damini Kane; scriptwriter and director of the skit, The Masterpiece, Katie Bagli; and coordinator and conductor of the children’s event, Rati Dady Wadia. Held over three evenings and one Sunday morning, the students of J B Petit High School for girls, The Cathedral and John Connon School and Writers’ Bug, wrote poems of which the best ones were selected for recitation.
