The 176^th anniversary of Bai Avabai Ardeshir Wadia (or Idawala) Agiary was celebrated on 2^nd July, 2019 (Roj Behram, Mah Bahman), with a Hama Anjuman Maachi and Jashan. Presiding over the function were Chief Guest, High Priest of the Navsari Bhagarseth Anjuman Atash Behram – Vada Dasturji Keki Ervad Cavasji Meherjirana; and Managing Trustee of the Agiary – Godrej N. Dotivala.

After the Jashan, Vada Dasturji Meherjirana addressed the gathering, speaking on the types and number of fires required for the consecration of an Atash Behram, an Agiary and an Atash Dadgah. It was heartening to note the record attendance. Godrej Dotivala mentioned that the Agiary was singularly fortunate to have welcomed and honoured Vada Dasturji Meherjirana just post his recent installation. He expressed gratitude to the dynamic, young Panthaky, Er. Shahvir M. Dastur and his team of dedicated Mobeds and helpers, for the exceptional caretaking and maintaining the Agiary. Trustees – Gayomard Panthaki, Silloo J. Billimoria, Dr. Minoo Bamboat, Veera Wadia and Kersi Wadia, were acknowledged for their support. A special thanks was also given to Er. Darayesh Katrak for his monthly talks on Daepadar Roj and generating fervour amongst Humdins.
