On 30th July, ZYNG and WZCC organized a financial workshop ‘We Are Practical, Not Spenders’, a talk on financial wellbeing to help our community’s youth manage their money wisely, by financial planner and founder of Financial Artists At Radio Club, Maher Dhamodiwala. The event was hosted and sponsored by DSP Black Rock.

The full house event saw Pheroze Kharas give a brief introduction on WZCC, and encouraging the youth towards entrepreneurship and assuring them of his support. Dhamodiwala educated the participants on how to get started with the basics of managing their money more aptly. Topics discussed included the power of Compounding, Systematic Investment Plan (SIP), Asset Allocation amongst others and explaining how the key attitude to managing one’s money and reaping benefits was being disciplined and patient. The session was interactive with numerous questions asked. It ended with dinner and a note of thanks given by Captain Percy Master of WZCC to Dhamodiwala.
