On 19th April, 2017, Mah Adar, Roj Khordad, Nargol’s Punjiaji Agiary celebrated its 76th Salgreh with a jasan ceremony at 10:00 am in agiary premises, performed by five priests, Er. Sohrab Bharucha, Er. Rayomand Dastur, Er. Hoshang Govadia, Er. Zubin Fatakia and Er. Soli Panthaky. Devotees participated in a humbandagi, followed by distribution of chasni and recitation of Chhahiye Hame Zathosty, led by Marazban Wadia, in the Agiary premises. The Nargol Parsee Zarthosty Anjuman Trustees, Er. Darabshaw Govadia, gave a small speech on the history of the Agiary and also appealed for donations for the above trusts. Over two hundred and fifty devotees from Mumbai, Surat, Sanjan, and nearby areas relished sumptuous gambhar lunch catered by Navroze Pagdiwalla at Dhunmai Cawasji Vaid’s bunglow which she lends for the lunch, year after year. Marazban Wadia and Shapoorji Khandadia concluded the eventful day with a vote of thanks.
