Linking Road

Linking Road: Linking Road, previously known as Dadabhai Navroji Road, was one of the first arterial roads that ‘linked’ the suburbs of Bandra and Juhu, during the 1940s. Linking Road and Hill Road are two main shopping hubs for street stalls in the suburbs of Mumbai. Over the years, Linking Road has stretched beyond its original length, from SV Road in Bandra to Khar, the area has gained popularity for its night life.

 

Nepean Sea Road

Nepean Sea Road: Nepean Sea Road is an upmarket neighbourhood in South Mumbai, which is named after Sir Evan Nepean, a British politician, administrator and the Governor of Bombay (1812 – 1819). In the 1960s, the road was renamed Lady Laxmi Bai Jagmohandas Marg. Nepean Sea Road is one of the costliest areas in Mumbai, with one of the largest sea-facing open green spaces – Priyadarshini Park, in its vicinity.
