On 2nd July, 2017, the Government of Madhya Pradesh conducted a massive tree plantation programme by planting over two million saplings to enter the Guinness World Book of Records. The Parsi Community of Jabalpur did its bit by planting over one hundred and fifty trees in the cemetery compound. The Chief Guest for the plantation drive was the local corporator Arti Lodhi.
