Pune Parsi Rugby players, 23-year-old Khusnaz Jogi and 24-year-old Vahbiz Bharucha, were recently selected in the West Zone National Rugby Team, after qualifying in their selection camp, held in Goa from 26th March to 7th April, 2018. Powered with rigorous training sessions, the girls represented the West Zone XV’s team at the National Inter Zonal Rugby XV’s Championship 2018 (Senior Category) held in Amritsar from 10th – 14th April, 2018,where

Vahbiz spearheaded the team as Captain and steered them into clinching the Champions Trophy. Their performance at the National Inter Zonal Championship managed to get Vahbiz a chance to be selected as the Captain for the ‘India Camp’, held from 6th – 31st May, 2018. Vahbiz is currently representing Team Indian at the ongoing Asia Rugby XV’s Championship that commenced on 2nd June, 2018.
