Sri Lanka Thrash South Africa To Win T20: Decent batting knocks from Dinesh Chandimal (36) and Man of the Match Dhananjaya de Silva (31) coupled with good bowling from Lakshan Sandakan (3-19) helped Sri Lanka beat rivals South Africa in a low scoring encounter by three wickets during the T20 game at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colomba. Batting first, the Proteas only managed a minimal 98 all out in 16.4 overs as Quinton de Kock scored 20 and Reeza Hendricks contributed 19. The Lankan lions were on top of their game, as at one stage they reduced South Africa to 69-6 in 10.4 overs. The target set for Sri Lanka was just 99. They achieved it in 16 overs with the loss of seven wickets and a few hiccups in between. In the process Chandimal smashed three fours and one maximum while de Silva pelted four boundaries and two sixes. For the Proteas… Kagiso Rabada, Tabraiz Shamsi and Junior Dala picked two wickets each.

Further AFC Bournemouth clinched a 2-0 victory against Cardiff City as Fraser smashed his goal during the 24th minute while Wilso hit in (90+1). Crystal Palace won 2-0 as Schlupp hit in the 41st minute while Zaha scored the winner in the 79th minute of the clash. Later Chelsea won 3-0 with Huddersfield where Kante pelted in the 34th minute, Jorginho scored a penalty during the 45th minute and Pedro smashed the winning goal in the 80th minute.
