On 2^nd October, 2019, the Sheth Shapurji Sorabji Kappawala Aderian Saheb (Tardeo), celebrated its 163^rd salgreh with a Havan Geh Machi followed by two Jashans – one in the morning and one in the evening. The morning Jashan was led by Panthki Er. Farsheed Dalal along with Er. Zubin Dalal and their team of Mobeds, in presence of Trustee Meherji Makati. The evening Jashan was on behalf of the Trustees of Sheth Shapurji Sorabji Kappawal Charity Trust and was led by Er. Zubin Dalal, along with Panthaki Er. Farsheed Dalal and his team of Mobeds in the presence of other Trustees including Aspi Driver, Pervez Driver, Viraf Mehta, Shahrukh Goveshni, Meherji Makati and Darabsha Daruwala, amidst a joyful crowd of Humdins.

Sheth Shapurji Sorabji Kappawala Aderian Saheb was originally founded and initiated on Roj Sarosh, Mah Ardibehest (YZ 1227) on 10^th November, 1857, at Bahar Kote, Mota Mohalla, presently known as Dhanji Street, where Dasturji Kukadaru Saheb used to serve with piety and devotion. Due to the diminishing Parsi population and attendance, the Aderian Saheb was shifted to Sir Ratan Tata Colony Road in 1941, where it continues as the Community’s place of worship for Zarthostis.
