Andheri’s Salsette Parsi Colony ushered in the New Year with a bang, as the colony’s dynamic ladies organised a Fun and Fair, on 5th January, 2020 at the Community Hall in the Baug, which was packed with old and young members of the society, who came for an enjoyable evening. The event comprised a Fancy Dress Competition, a Talent Contest, games and of course – lots of food stalls!
It was delightful watching children and elders across all age groups perform – especially senior members Mani Irani, who played the violin and Rustom Karwa, who played the mouth organ. The fancy dress and talent competitions were judged by Viraf Patel, Farida Saroshaian, Jeniffer Daruwalla and Huafrid Tata. The event was compared by the young, enterprising Malcom Katrak. All the residents thoroughly enjoyed the shows, games and food.
The organisers thank the Trustees of the colony for their support and for providing the infrastructure.
