Don’t Miss ‘NCPA@ThePark’!

The National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), in collaboration with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), is all set to present ‘NCPA@ThePark’, an outreach initiative that celebrates the return of live performances and opens the doors to audiences and patrons, so they can enjoy the arts in their collective, community-fostering glory.

Spread across the first two weekends of March, NCPA@ThePark is a mélange of specially curated live performances of music, dance and poetry at the Cooperage Bandstand. The initiative began with the Members of the Symphony Orchestra of India performing a specially arranged set on 4th March, 2022. “It is part of our vigorous initiative towards taking our genres to different parts of Mumbai and India and making our presence felt as truly a national centre. From getting permission for outdoor concerts to the curation, the senior management and heads of genres have been deeply involved in this endeavour, which we plan to sustain for the benefit of people,” said Khushroo N. Suntook, Chairman, NCPA.

The performances are open to the public, free of cost and organised in adherence to current Covid norms. For more details and schedule: www.ncpamumbai.com/event/ncpa-the-park/
