The Malcolm Baug Premier League 2023, organized by the Malcolm Baug Parsi Gymkhana, posed a fun and action-packed weekend (14^th – 16^th July, 2023), as this unique football tournament with creatively tweaked rules infused greater excitement and entertainment into the game. The League showcased nearly a hundred talented participants, who battled it out with as much competitiveness, as camaraderie.

The anticipation reached a crescendo during the auction held a week prior, where team owners passionately vied for players to create their dream team. Each of the ten teams exhibited inclusiveness and diversity – comprising at least one woman player, one player under 18 years of age and one player above 40 years. Each team was granted one marquee player on an invitational basis, adding to the prestige and talent of the event.

The tourney attracted a massive turnout of spectators who spiritedly supported their favorites through the weekend. In an exhilarating finale, the team ‘Hustlers’, owned by Mahafarin Edibam, emerged the champions, triumphing over ‘The Studs’, owned by Hufrish Lacca and Deanne Umrigar. Individual outstanding performances were also awarded, as under:
