Ahmedabad resident, Farzan Loveji Khambhatta, was recently declared the second runner-up in the National Competition for Structural Engineering students, organized by the Institute for Steel Development & Growth (INSDAG), Kolkata, for his design: ‘Steel Intensive Trade Fair Center’.

Having completed his Bachelors of Engineering (Civil) from DDIT, Nadiad in 2022, Farzan is currently pursuing his second year of Masters in Structural Engineering at L D Engineering College, Ahmedabad, and is working on his research thesis.

The son of Late Loveji and Tenaz Khambhatta, Farzan has been an enthusiast in the construction field since childhood, as his father was working as a property broker. He has also been a District Level Kho-kho player in school. His hobbies include sports and music, and he looks to publish a research paper and work at a top Structural Engineering firm, with the aim of heading his own firm, someday.
