Lion Daara Bahadur Patel, Secretary General – IDMA, led a delegation of 60 Indian MSME member companies at the 14th Korea International Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Exhibition (Korea Pharm & Bio 2024), held at KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center), Seoul, South Korea, from 23rd – 26th April, 2024. This marked the largest India Pavilion held in 2024, with almost 60 stalls, including IDMA, Pharmexcil and IPMMI.

Daara Patel was also part of the elite contingent that inaugurated this exhibition, alongside Indian Ambassador – Amit Kumar, and others. In 2023, IDMA signed an MoU with Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association (KPBMA) for the mutual development of both Pharma Industries. Mumbai is now expecting to host the delegation of Korean Pharma and Bio companies to further strengthen bonds between IDMA and KPBMA.
