Young sailing prodigy, 12-year-old Darayus J. Karanjia, achieved remarkable success at the Pete’s Sake Open Skiff Regatta, which was recently held in Mumbai. The talented seventh grader, studying at JBCN International School, secured first place in both – the Overall and the Under-15 Categories, marking a significant milestone in his impressive sailing career.

Darayus has been honing his sailing skills for the past three years, initially with the RBYC Sailing classes and more recently, with 24Seven Sailing LLP. His dedication and passion for the sport have culminated into his outstanding wins at the regatta. “This victory means a great deal to Darayus,” shared proud parents – Sofiya and Jehangir A. Karanjia, adding, “It’s a testament to his hard work and dedication, and serves as an inspiration to his peers.”
