‘Love Story’, a modern Zoroastrian dating App, is due for launch in December 2024, with the aim of breathing new life into the dating scene for young Zoroastrians, worldwide. The App, which will be officially launched at the North American Zoroastrian Congress in Houston, is the brainchild of 29-year-old Kimiya Shahzadi, who is also the co-chair of the Zoroastrian Youth of North America (ZYNA). With a master’s degree in Clinical Behavioural Psychology, specializing in relationships, she is uniquely equipped to address the challenges faced by young Zoroastrians in finding meaningful connections within the community.

Kimaya’s dedication and efforts have resulted in over 20 successful matches within the Zoroastrian community, last year itself. This track record underscores the App’s potential to make a significant impact at scale. Speaking with Parsi Times, Kimiya shared, “As the global Zoroastrian community faces challenges of geographic dispersion, the need for such an app has never been greater. In a world where our incredible religion and modern technology intersect, ‘Love Story’ stands as a beacon of hope, promising to make meaningful connections possible for young Zoroastrians everywhere.”

To realize her vision, Kimiya and her husband have already invested $30,000 in this venture and have started a GoFundMe campaign with the goal of raising another $25,000 to support the development and launch of the App, ensuring it reaches as many young Zoroastrians as possible.
