Rightly is it said that XYZ Seniors are ‘MAD’ or ‘Making A Difference’, this time by embarking on donation drive by collecting items for children in need in Bhiwandi. They organized drives to gather a variety of essential items, including shoes, toys, food coupons, and clothes.

These dynamic go-getters reached out to the community, friends, and family, emphasizing the significance of their cause. Not surprisingly they met with an overwhelming response, as bags of gently used clothes, toys, food coupons, and shoes began to pour in! These were then sorted and packaged with care, ensuring everything was ready for distribution.

Monetary donations were used to buy new rain shoes for the children along with food items, groceries, essentials and hygiene supplies. These were distributed to the children and families of ragpickers in association with the Change Foundation.

Participating in this donation drive inculcated a deep sense of compassion and social responsibility as also satisfaction in the XYZ members, having experienced first-hand, the power of community and the impact of collective effort towards making the world a better place for the children.
