Poona’s Parsi community came out to vote for electing their favoured Poona Parsi Panchayat Trustees, on 20^th October, 2024. Congratulations to the newly elected seven trustees: Farookh Chinoy (234 votes); Hoshang Irani (282 votes); Marazban Irani (340 votes); Tirandaz Irani (217 votes); Homi Kaikobad (236 votes); Jamshed Karkaria (329 votes); and Khursheed Mistry (216 votes).

Three other contenders who did not make it to the top seven, include Shahrookh Mistry (180 votes); Yezdi Motiwalla (170 votes); and Bakhtiar Nariewalla (189 votes). All seven elected members are known for their commitment to community service, bringing to the table immense experience and deep understanding of the community needs. They are poised to do justice, in their collective leadership role, to the added sense of responsibility and authority that comes with their new roles as Trustees.
