WZCC’s Pune Chapter celebrated its 20^th anniversary on 16^th November, 2024, amidst much jubilation alongside 75 members, guests and Chief Guest – Pune’s Senior Neurologist, Dr. Nasli Ichaporia. The program also witnessed Farrokh Bhathena take over as the new Chapter Chair from the dynamic current Chapter Chair, Tehmasp Bharucha.

WZCC Global Director Viraf Deboo praised the leadership of Tehmasp Bharucha, while welcoming Farrokh Bhathena and the new committee members comprising Yazdi Batliwala (India Board Secretary); Bezan Nanavatti; Behnaz Nanavatti (India Youth Director); Farida Deboo (Secretary); Aflatoon Izedyar (Treasurer); and Nauzer Batha.

Pune’s past Chapter Chairs – Viraf Deboo, Mahrukh Bharucha and Tehmasp Bharucha, were felicitated by WZCC Global Secretary Behroze Daruwalla and shared a few words about their inspiring journeys. Diana Pundole was also felicitated for her outstanding achievement in the field of Motor Sports.

Chief Guest Dr. Nasli Ichaporia’s thought-provoking speech on ‘How to Keep the Brain Young’ was well received by the attendees. A cake cutting ceremony by the newly installed Chapter Chair and Past Chapter Chairs received much cheer in acknowledgment of their collective service over the years.

The event was also graced by Behroze Daruwalla (Global Secretary), Xerxes Dastur (Global Director), Aspi Antia (Global CEO), alongside members from WZCC’s Mumbai, Indore, USA and UAE chapters. WZCC Global President, Captain Percy Master, sent an inspiring congratulatory message, in his absence. Compered by Farida Deboo, with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Aflatoon Izedyar, the event concluded with members networking over cocktails and dinner.
