Noted homeopath, Dr. Farokh J. Master, was felicitated at the second International Congress on Oncology, which was held on 11^th – 12^th January, 2025, at the Bombay Hospital, in Mumbai, and attended by over one hundred and eighty doctors working in diverse fields of medicine and healing.

Dr. Master was awarded a certificate of appreciation by Lukas Klinik, Switzerland, for his 4-decades long body of work on ‘Iscador Therapy’. He was also a key speaker at the Conference alongside Dr. Sarah Monz, Dr. Stephan Bumgatherner and Dr. Micheal Frass. Dr Master is the head of the department of Palliative Oncology at KEM hospital, Parel and Pune, and is also a consultant at Sir H.N. Reliance Hospital, Bombay Hospital and Bai Jerbai Children Hospital.

At the conference, Dr. Master explained how Homoeopathy, in combination with Iscador Therapy, works wonders in changing the prognosis of cancer patients and helps in improving their quality of life. Although Iscador (an extract of a semi-parasitic plant which, in preclinical studies, which directly kills tumour cells and stimulates an immune response) is regarded as a complementary cancer therapy, it is reportedly the most commonly used oncological drug in Germany.
