Architecture and interior design firm, ‘Studio Homzstead’, founded by architect Hormuzd Katrak, was awarded the ‘Creative and Trusted Architecture and Interior Design Firm of the Year 2025, Maharashtra’ award, at the Architecture and Interior Design Excellence Awards and Conference held in Bengaluru, on 20^th March, 2025. Hormuzd Katrak bagged the ‘Promising and Trendsetter Architect and Interior Designer of 2025’ Award. These awards celebrate excellence in architecture and interior design.

Founded by Hormuzd Katrak, a graduate of NMIMS’ Balwant Sheth School of Architecture, Studio Homzstead has made its mark in Maharashtra’s design industry, underlining its commitment to innovative, functional and sophisticated design solutions.

With prior experience at Byram Wadia Architects, Katrak established Studio Homzstead with a focus on modern aesthetics and meticulous execution. In just a year and a half, the firm has completed over 25 residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.

27-year-old Hormuzd Katrak, resident of Mumbai’s Malcolm Baug Parsi Colony, credits his family for their unwavering support and inspiration. Passionate about architecture from an early age, he developed his skills at NMIMS and continues to seek inspiration from global design trends. Outside of work, he enjoys playing the violin, sports like tennis, cricket, and swimming, as well as traveling and exploring different architectural styles. Congratulations to Ar.
