Parvez Wadia, a 34-year-old cyclist and fitness coach from Mumbai, achieved an extraordinary feat – cycling from the crown of India, Kashmir, to the southernmost tip, Kanyakumari. Covering a staggering 3,666 kms in just 14 days (from 2nd – 15th March, 2025), his journey stands as a testament to sheer determination and endurance.
Braving extreme temperatures ranging from 0°C in Kashmir to a scorching 49°C in the south, Parvez navigated treacherous gravel roads, endless potholes, exhausting climbs, and relentless rolling elevations. Yet, his unwavering spirit saw him through to the finish line. His determination and resilience have made this a moment of much pride, for him as also for the Parsi community.
Not a stranger to endurance cycling, he has previously completed several gruelling rides, starting out from Mumbai and headed to various destinations including the Statue of Unity (800 km) and back; Pune (300 km) – four times; Navsari (416 km); Nashik (400 km), etc. Parvez Wadia’s journey is an inspiration to fitness enthusiasts and cyclists across the country, proving that with determination, no distance is too great!
