14-year-old Shareez Sidhwa was selected to represent Mumbai at the ‘34th National Handball Sub-Junior Tournament’ held in Haryana, from 25th to 29th September, 2017. The selection that took place a month before the tournament, involved 200 best handball players across schools, competing for a period of a month. Shareez got selected to represent Mumbai in the 5-Day National tournament, where he scored a total of 11, and was appreciated highly by the coaches and competitors too. A Navar and a Martab, Shareez has been the  captain and winner of inter-school volleyball and handball tournaments at the MSSA level, and has represented his school at various competitions numerous times.
