MI Beat CSK At Wankhede: The ‘El Classico’ of this year’s IPL, the most awaited clash of the season, Mumbai Indians (MI) V/s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) had the MI team gaining the upper momentum right through the contest. Man of the Match Hardik Pandya’s stellar all-round show (25* off 8) and (3-20) helped MI win by 37 runs at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Put to bat first, MI scored 170-5 in 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav top scored with 59, while Krunal Pandya contributed a 32 ball 42. Pollard hit two sixes notching 17 in seven deliveries. For CSK, Deepak Chahar, Mohit Sharma, Imran Tahir, Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo picked a wicket each. Only Kedar Jadhav managed to score 58 in 58 balls; none of the other batsmen made big scores. MI’s Lasith Malinga and Hardik Pandya were the pick of the bowlers snaring three wickets each.
