At the recently concluded Lions International District Convention, held on 30^th April 2023, Lion Feroze Katrak MJF, was elected (unopposed) the second Vice District Governor of District 3231-A1. Lion Feroze, a Lion since 1989 with the Lions Club of Byculla (LCB), has numerous achievements in his career with Lions International.

As the first Vice- President of LCB, he created a District record during his fund raising – collecting Rs.87 lakhs. As President, the Board of Directors unanimously asked him to continue as President for the second year, which was a first in the history of Lions Club of Byculla! During his term as President, he carried out projects worth Rs.1.23 crores in the first year and Projects worth Rs. 2.25 crores in the subsequent year. Lions Club of Byculla (LCB), chartered in 1977, is a premier Club and boasts of having over 80% Zoroastrian members.

The recipient of various awards at District level, Lion Feroze has been awarded Appreciation Certificates by Multiple Council Chairperson, International Director and also by the International President. He has also been bestowed the ‘100 Most Impactful Corona Warrior’ Award.

Having worked with the ICICI Group for 31 years, where his last designation was Executive Vice President, Lion Feroze, in his acceptance speech, thanked his Club’s Trustees, Board of Directors, and all members for their unstinted support, making special mentions of Club President, Lion Changez Gandhi, Charter President and sponsoring Committee Chairperson Lion Maneck Dastur and club PDG Lion – Daara Patel. He acknowledged the contribution of his spouse Shiraz and children Farrahnaz and Fabian, for their support. Lion Feroze’s focus would be on unity at all levels and with a thrust on transparency and accountability, as also on good governance and promoting the youth.
