An All-Religions Inclusive Round-Table Discourse on ‘Oneness of Humanity’, was held at the Lotus Temple, in New Delhi, on 28th September, 2024, organised by the ‘Baha’i Office of Public Affairs’ (BOPA); and ‘Institute of Harmony and Peace Studies (IHPS)’.
Conducted by Dr. M D. Thomas – Director, IHPS; and Carmel Tripathi (BOPA), the event marked the seventh chapter of this series, with discussions focused on engagement via similar values in different religious scriptures.
Marazban Nariman Zaiwalla, from the Zoroastrian Parsi Community – Delhi, represented the Parsi community as a speaker. He eloquently shared the concept of ‘HamaZor’, symbolizing ‘unity’ as also ‘strength in togetherness’, saying that this beautiful concept was difficult to put into practice because of individual wishes, desires and beliefs along with a sense of personal right and wrong. Practicing this harmonious ideology of HamaZor needed understanding and empathy on all levels.
