Dahanu-district based Shirin Dinyar Irani Learners Academy, which runs under the YZAD Education Trust, was awarded the ‘Best School In Palghar District’, at the Star Education Awards 2024, in a glittering function held on 26^th November, 2024, at the BKC MMRDA Grounds, as part of the Education Supply and Franchise Expo (ESFE) 2024.

The award, which was presented in association with the Ministry of Education, Maharashtra State Govt., honours individuals and institutions all over India, who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and excellence in education. The Shirin Dinyar Irani Learners Academy was felicitated with a trophy and a citation.

The YZAD Education Trust, established in 1991 and registered under the Public Trust Act, is dedicated to the educational, social and cultural development of young minds in Dahanu Taluka. Comprising all Zoroastrian trustees, the Trust is headed by dynamic President Pervez Irani and Vice President Banoogoshasp Irani. Delighted by this honour, they shared, “This achievement is a testament to our commitment to providing high-quality education and to our team’s tireless efforts.”

This year, the school was also awarded the ‘Best School’ Award by the Interact Club of Dahanu, while the Rotary Club of Dahanu further bestowed upon the school, the prestigious ‘Kranti Jyoti Savitribai Phule Best Principal’s Award’ Preeti Thakkar, Principal – Shirin Dinyar Irani Learners Academy, in October 2024, along with the ‘Best PT Teacher Award’.
