Karting Champ Hoshmand Elavia Makes Spectacular Autocross Debut

17-year-old kart-racing prodigy, Hoshmand Freddy Elavia, made a spectacular debut in Autocross, at Generation Speed, India’s largest Motoring festival, organised at Amby Valley, on 22-23 February, 2025. Winning top prizes in his very first attempt at Motorcorss, Hoshmand notched up three impressive awards, winning first place in the Amateur Class (up to 1400cc) INAC3; second runner-up in the Amateur Class (1401cc – 1600cc) INAC3; and securing the ‘Best Team Award in the Team Game Over Motorsport category.

Speaking on the occasion to Parsi Times on the occasion, Hoshmand shared, “2025 has indeed started on a high note! I’ve taken the leap from karts to cars and have been able to make a mark in my first-time ever in this contest. I’m grateful for the unwavering support and belief in me from Fahad Kutty and Team Game Over Motorsport. And a huge thanks to FB Motorsports and IARC for hosting an exceptional autocross event!”

The Godrej Baug resident’s success comes on the heels of his recent achievement in January, when he won the overall title in the Pro Senior Category of the Indikarting Pro Races Season 6, where he bagged a brilliant total of 7 podiums! A student of Mumbai’s Wilson college in the Arts faculty, Hoshmand started training in 2016 under Rayomand Banajee (‘Rayo Racing’ Indikarting), who has been instrumental in the success of world-class racing champions, including the Formula 2 champ – Jehan Daruvala.
