India Win The T20 Series Against Zimbabwe
The final game of the shortest format turned into a thrilling contest with Zimbabwe winning the toss and electing to field. For the Indians, Kedar Jadhav scored 58 runs. The tourists finished scoring 138/6 in 20 overs. In reply, the hosts were determined to clinch the cup. The match went down to the wire but Barinder Sran held his nerve and helped India win the encounter by 3 runs. Sran won ‘Man of the Series’ and Kedar Jadhav was declared ‘Man of the Match’.

England beat Wales 2-1; Ukraine were defeated 0-2 by Northern Ireland; Germany and Poland drew their encounter 0-0 on 16th June. Next day, Czech Republic and Croatia were involved in a draw 2-2; Spain beat Turkey 3-0; Italy won against Sweden 1-0. On 18th June, Belgium won 3-0 over Republic of Ireland; Iceland drew 1-1 against Hungary; and all-time favourites Portugal disappointed, drawing 0-0 against Austria. The following day, Albania defeated Romania 1-0; Switzerland and France played into yet another draw. 20th June saw Wales winning over Russia 3-0; Slovakia and England drew on 0-0. On June 21st, Germany outplayed Northern Ireland 1-0; Poland won 1-0 against Ukraine; Croatia outplayed Spain with a 2-1 victory and Turkey emerged victorious 2-0 V/s Czech Republic.
