PT Push: Natasha Sethna

PT Push endeavours to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship and is dedicated to furthering the cause of all in our community who wish to share their efforts with our readers, and look to gain your support for their entrepreneurial ventures.

Natasha Sethna’s love for cooking goes back to her childhood. Believing that food is what makes people truly happy, Natasha started delivering tiffins to office-goers and residents under ‘Foodicted with Natasha’. With her family’s constant support, Natasha has realised her dream of starting a Parsi food joint, ‘Natasha’s Parsi Bites’ located in Vile Parle (W) on 12th April, 2017. Asst. Editor, Delaveen Tarapore catches up with Natasha…

PT: What motivated you to pursue this line?

Natasha: It’s my love for cooking, especially authentic Parsi food, which has been appreciated by my family and friends. I wanted to share my passion and art with others and cater to those who relish tasty, authentic home-made Parsi food with my tiffin service, ‘Foodicted with Natasha’. This was the initial start of a small dream. This catering service further motivated me to spread my wings and install a Parsi outlet, ‘Natasha’s Parsi Bites’.

PT: What’s your specialty?

Natasha: It’s my dhansaak! I send out dabbas on a daily basis which comprise a wide range of dishes to select from the menu to satisfy your taste buds. However, my shop’s best picks are cutlets, kabab, mutton khema roll, russian pattice, Parsi pudding and my favourite – chocolate mousse.

PT: What does the future look like?

Natasha: I would like to start a chain of Parsi restaurants across India in the future. My aim is to raise the bar in the food industry and spread the love for Parsi cuisine all around the world.
